Monitoring update.
July 1, 2026
During June, Take Notice reviewed 246 new entries. This update covers the three categories that continued to demand our attention throughout the month.
Categories in this update
1. Diapers — Millie Moon Diapers
2. Toys — Squeezy Dumplings Stress Ball Toys
3. Feeding — Medela Breast Pumps
One category has appeared in three consecutive updates. One involves a government warning from UK regulators. One involves the same failure type repeating across multiple products from the same brand.

What we're seeing
Complaints continued to arrive in the second half of June. 79 of the 121 June entries were logged after June 15. The complaints describe the same pattern: rash, blistering, and chemical burn-like reactions across multiple sizes and states. Symptoms consistently improve after switching brands.

Current status
No recall issued. A California product liability attorney has logged approximately 50 complaints since January 2026 and is investigating a potential class action. Manufacturer Zuru Inc. has not responded publicly. The product remains on shelves at Target.

What we're seeing
UK regulators identified benzene levels above legal limits in these toys. Regulators also warned that microwaving the toys causes the gel filling to rupture, creating a serious burn hazard. Structural failures present a choking hazard for children.
Current status
No recall issued in the United States. UK regulatory action is on record. Monitoring continues.

What we're seeing
Multiple Medela breast pump models are showing the same type of problem. Reports describe suction and power failures followed by serious medical complications including mastitis, abscesses, hospitalization, and in some reports, surgical intervention. Eight of the nine June reports involve consumer retail models.
Current status
No recall issued. We are watching whether this pattern continues to grow.
Why it's here
The same failure type appearing across multiple models from the same brand is worth watching. The medical consequences reported are serious. No recall has been issued.
| |
None of what you just read required a recall announcement. It required watching consistently, across sources, every day.
The next update goes out August 1. Monitoring continues until then.
We watch for you.
